Every tier below is design + build + teach, priced flat to what you get, never to the hour. Bed material (galvanized metal or untreated wood) is the main lever on price within a tier; final quote still depends on your yard.

Tier 01

Starter Bed

$1,500–$3,000metal to wood beds

Best for first-time clients, smaller yards, and testing the relationship: a scoped-down version of the full Good Roots build so you can see how we work before committing further.

  • Raised beds filled with soil/mix, amended, and initial planting for the season
  • One optional teach-in session with the family
  • A 1-year check-in

Doesn't include irrigation installation (your existing hose/spigot is assumed sufficient), trees, or check-ins beyond the 1-year mark.

$1,500: 4 beds, 4'×2'×1" (2 pairs)

$2,400: 3 beds, 8'×4'×1"

Wood

$2,500: 4 beds, 4'×4'×10"

$3,000: 3 beds, 6'×12'×10"

Tier 02

Full Oasis

$5,000–$6,400metal to wood beds

The core Good Roots build, for someone ready to commit to a real backyard transformation, not just a trial bed.

  • Full garden layout: mixed vegetable/flower beds, mixed and matched to your yard
  • Basic drip irrigation setup: we install the system, you turn it on
  • Pathway or border elements where the design calls for them (additional cost)
  • Two teaching sessions: an initial one, and a follow-up 4–6 weeks in to troubleshoot what's actually growing

Doesn't include fruit trees or orchard elements (that's Orchard & Legacy) or hardscape unrelated to the growing beds themselves.

Tier 03

Orchard & Legacy

$8,500–$10,000metal to wood beds

For clients thinking multi-year: fruit trees, perennial plantings, a garden meant to mature over years, not one season. This is the tier where "keeps giving year over year" really lives.

  • Everything in Full Oasis
  • Tree selection, placement, and planting
  • A multi-year care and growth roadmap: what changes in year 1 vs. year 3 vs. year 5
  • An extended teaching session on tree-specific care

No hardscape unrelated to the growing beds and trees themselves.
